Treynor, Iowa, July 30, 2018 – TS Community Foundation (TSCF) is proud to announce its three newest board members including Lisa Fox, Abby Jares, and Kelsey Stupfell. With a robust range of experience, the common thread shared by all three is a desire to positively impact the local communities.
TSCF formed in 1999 as an organization designed to help giving people accomplish more with their gift. TSCF itself does not engage in making donations or accepting funding requests. Instead, it houses monies from giving people or organizations with a charitable process which gives donors more financial flexibility.
Lisa Fox brings 17 years of non-profit and community relations experience as well as over a decade of program and project development experience. She has a B.A. in Sociology and Criminal Justice from Simpson College and a Master’s Degree in Public Administration from the University of Nebraska at Omaha. Her work experience includes various roles impacting at-risk children and families including Youth Homes of Mid-America, Broward Children’s Center and MICAH House. She is currently the President of Fox Creek Fundraising.
"I am honored to be part of a group with such tremendous talent and passion for the community,” said Lisa Fox, President of Fox Creek Fundraising. “The TS Community Foundation opens doors for countless individuals working to make a difference while continuing to remain focused on trust, relationships, and responsible stewardship.”
Abby Jares is a Council Bluffs native and has a B.B.A. in Business Management from the University of Iowa. She comes with nearly 10 years of experience in communications and project implementation including work with Saint Albert Schools and Council Bluffs Area Chamber of Commerce. Plus, she most recently acquired development experience at CHI Health Foundation.
“I love engaging in service and work that allows me to impact my hometown and local community. I am excited to be a part of TSCF that encourages and helps people achieve positive change in their own backyard,” said Abby Jares, Development Officer at CHI Health Foundation.
Kelsey Stupfell joins with 11 years of experience in public and community relations and has a B.A. in Corporate Communication from Simpson College. Stupfell has held numerous roles across TS Banking Group including areas specific to community banking, human relations, and marketing. Currently, she manages the company’s annual donations and leads the community reinvestment strategic efforts as the Director of Community Reinvestment.
“It is a joy to be part of an individual’s or organization’s story through TSCF. With a client-centric approach and giving philosophy, I am grateful to work together to help make an impact in our community,” states Kelsey Stupfell, Director of Community Reinvestment of TS Banking Group.
TSCF has been developing strategic initiatives to create more awareness in the community of how the foundation can benefit individuals, organizations, and communities. Community members needing to set up a 501c3 can utilize TSCF. Additionally, community members can donate money through TSCF to be allocated toward a specific fund or cause that may receive favorable tax treatment.
Fox, Jares and Stupfell join other board members including Mick Guttau as Chairman, Bob Mantell, Denise Wilson, Nigel Horton, Travis Castle, and Judy Guttau as Secretary. Mary Jewell is a fiduciary officer with TS Prosperity Group, who makes the investments and completes the necessary paper work.
The TSCF Board serves to oversee these efforts and engage in the foundation’s strategic initiatives. To learn more visit tsbankinggroup.com or contact any board member for questions. Chairman Mick Guttau, is available at (712) 487-3000 or [email protected].
